Laundry Supervisor POSITION DESCRIPTION:

LAUNDRY SUPERVISOR
Our client, A boutique hotel is looking for an energetic individual to fill in the vacancy of a Laundry supervisor
POSITION DESCRIPTION
• To make sure the Laundry facility is operating as smoothly as possible
• Ensure the facilities are well maintained and standards are set so that laundry is always clean and safe to work environment.

Specific Responsibilities
1. Supervise and manage workers in the laundry section to ensure operations are meeting the expectations of management
2. Assist and train subordinate on the proper operations of the laundry machine

3. Ensure that cleanliness of all garments and Linen of the hotel are maintained to the highest standards
4. Train newly recruited workers in the laundry section and offer expertise advice to the question of workers and patrons.

Education and experience
1. At least 5 years experience as laundry worker of which at least 2 years work in a supervisory position
2. Good education background with at least Ordinary level education
3. Working knowledge with laundry chemicals is essential to this position
