Camp Manager POSITION DESCRIPTION:

CAMP MANAGER REQUIRED (1 POST)

A reputable Company is looking for a Camp Manger to join our team in Tarangire;


JOB DETAIL:

Report: Operations Manager
Position Type: Full Time

General Description:
This is responsible work in camp management. An employee allocated to this class of work is responsible for managing and insure successful operations of the camp. Work is performed independently within established policies and procedures under the general direction of company Administration.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing all staff camps
Monitoring and organizing monthly due off-duty for camp crew
Plans menus, prepares food supply orders, and stores food with a help of Camp Chef
Makes arrangements for disposal of garbage
Responsibility for checking in and out of our guests and put records daily
Supervises and make sure that guests are receiving high standard services
Responsible for inventory and ordering of camp equipment and supplies
Performs related work as required
Regular stock taking
Assisting with client requests
Ensuring guests to have a enjoyable and memorable stay at camp


EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

Hospitality (Hotel) Vocation training background either Certificate/Diploma in particular study


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in mobile camp management.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of menu planning and food services.
Supervisory management skills
Should be able to maintain maximum work relation with all age/status/stockholders
Leadership ability
Creativity and ability to make decision.
Able to stay out of town for extended period of time
