Are you a recent graduate, looking for the opportunity to spend the academic year working as a teaching assistant in a charming two form entry primary school?

Do you have aspirations to begin a PGCE/teacher training after spending the year developing your experience through working as a graduate teaching assistant?

My client, a charming two for entry primary school are seeking three enthusiastic graduates who are looking to commit to a teaching assistant role for the academic year to gain valuable school based experience before commencing teacher training.

This Tower Hamlets primary school is a superb environment for graduates who are beginning their career within primary teaching. Each year the Headteacher looks to take on a handful of graduates who can commit to this primary school for at least the academic year and wish to take full advantage of the opportunity to gain valuable experience in an Ofsted outstanding primary school.

The school are looking for individuals who are looking to gain that much needed school based experience before beginning teacher training. You will need to be a recent graduate, with child related experience. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as overseas teaching, youth work, voluntary school work, tutoring, sports coaching.... SEN experience is desirable but is not essential.

As a teaching assistant you will be working 1:1 with students with Special Educational Needs. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable SEN experience in a school setting.
